What customers say?

“ Poppadoms were nice and fresh. Lime pickle and mango chutney were really good. Chicken Tikka starter was very flavourful and juicy. Chicken pakora was decent. Pilau rice was maybe the best pilau rice we've had. Aloo pratha and peshwari naan were really nice, the peshwari naan was covered in honey which I've not seen before. Lamb Rogan Josh the lamb was really tender and the sauce was great however for me personally the wild garlic garnish in it was overpowering (my girlfriend loved it, so no complaints). Chicken Mamma cook dish was full of veggies and flavour. Cobra on tap. Staff were friendly and attentive. Good value for money. Played excellend 80s music. We went on Friday night on a whim, was a bit quiet when we first got there around half 7 but picked up about 8. Pleased to say we've found a go to Indian restaurant. ”

“ Absolutely amazing delicious food, the chef takes sooo much pride in what he cooks & how it’s served. Everything is incredibly freshly made! The lamb is so tender, the chicken soft & juicy! This place used to be amazing many years ago then yep , management structure went downhill. I’ll be honest I avoided it. So this is how honest my review is, went back 3 years adoc. Then after that went regularly… by far the No 1 honestly I’ve had takeaways & dined in! Always as equally good!!! Everyone here is amazing! BUT the chef! he really really cares! #priceless Thank you ”

“ Been wanting to try this place a while with only living up the road, thought I'd treat myself. Ordered the chefs special set meal for 2, I liked how it was all in individual containers per person made portioning it much easier. Thought 2 pieces of chicken was rather stingy so was basically just sauce luckily lots of rice to soak it up. Potato dish was not great potato tasted very old like you'd put 2 day old roast spuds into a curry. Some Flavours good just a little on bland side I expected better, not spicy at all very mild. I will try them again as service and atmosphere was lovely which it what bumped the stars up. Here's hoping chef just having a bad day. ”
